The team finalized the installation of two racks on the NOAA Twin Otter and all the wiring and plumbing for our instruments on the Twin Otter today. Aircraft instrument power testing is scheduled for tomorrow. If everything works well, the first test flight is scheduled for Friday, June 28. The science teams each have a small section of the hangar to act as a staging area for testing and preparing equipment and instrumentation for installation on the Twin Otter.
Day 5 - Wednesday, June 26
Xinrong, from ARL and Chris from University of Colorado Boulder ensured gas and electrical connections are secure and ready for the start of the mission as soon as Friday, June 28th, a few days ahead of schedule.
