A Success for the Educational Partnership Program

LaToya Myles has beew awarded a Ph.D. by Florida A and M University, for her dissertation on “A Study Of Atmospheric Ammonia In Coastal Ecosystems Utilizing Relaxed Eddy Accumulation Techniques And Ion Mobility Spectrometry.” Dr. Myles studies have been under the auspices of the NOAA Educational Partnership Program’s Graduate Scientist Program, in which she was assigned to OAR’s Air Resources Laboratory. She has worked extensively with the ARL team at Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and has participated in a number of ARL’s collaborative studies (among several ARL Divisions and a number of university and EPA partners) on the deposition of atmospheric ammonia and mercury.
